The Project is linked with the “Sásabe – Guaymas” & “San Isidro – Samalayuca” Pipelines. This system allow to supply natural gas to the north and north-east Mexican plants and nearest cities. The “Samalyuca – Sasabe” pipeline, with its total lenght of 630km (36”), has a capacity of 550 milioni di mc/day. Carso Energy, Company of Grupo Carso, awarded the 630km of pipeline project to the contractor CAFIG, a consortium of CISCA, FCC, and Nuova Ghizzoni (Sicilsaldo Group). The Consortium assigned the execution of 310km of pipeline construction to Sicilsaldo.
